A little more news about the 2012 Reunion

In between a few other jobs on the 6th October, I did manage to capture a couple of pictures taken during the afternoon in the Squadron HQ that are worth sharing.

The Squadron are understandably quite proud of the new Roll of Honour plaque and national flags dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives on board XV216 on the night of the 9th November 1971.

and for those who have not had the opportunity of visiting the new HQ, what you might not be aware of is that the C130J Simulators are slap bang alongside. Here we have two members of the Royal Antediluvian Air Force, but still very able, looking for the Loch Ness monster during a Sim ride on the afternoon of the 6th. [it was hunted down and given the independence it has been looking for all these years]
