New Members

To keep you all in the picture, I thought the Blog Book would be a good way to keep everyone up to date during the year by posting a few brief details about our new members as applications come in. Not that we receive a great sackful of them each week but that is what and on line diary is all about.

Our first new member this year is Geraint Swann-Price, brother of Rick Swann-Price, who was the co-pilot on Hercules XV216 which crashed off Pisa. Geraint has enrolled as a honorary member.

Next is Robin Cane who was a pilot on Hasting at Colerne with XXIV in the late 60’s. A warn welcome to both.

This message may be in the wrong place. I have only very recently discovered that an uncle of mine Second Lieutenant Aubrey Edward Glew was a member of 24 Squadron RFC and died of his wounds in France on 8th September 1916. How can I find out more about his circumstances? I know where he is buried.
