A brief post on the Blog Book to say that numbers and arrangements are going well for this years Reunion.
We have over 50 members and guests coming for the day and evening events on the 4th October. A coach has been booked for those staying in Hotels in the M4 Junction 16 area to pick up around 7pm and return at midnight. The Sgts Mess is the venue for this years Guest Night and hopefully a few more of the Squadron personnel will be available to join us for the evening.
A new item on the afternoon agenda is a visit to 47 Air Despatch Squadron situated adjacent to the main Lyneham site for a comprehensive briefing and view over the static DC3.

Well did the 2008 Reunion all go OK – the answer is a YES once again
The weather was not up to its usual standard for the first week in October but it was quite cosy eating lunch together in the crew room. A good briefing form the new OC XXIV Squadron, W/C Andy Bacon and his team on current events and some interesting trips to the flight Simulator, Static C130J and a briefing from 47AD Squadron.
The day was rounded off by an excellent Ladies Guest Night in the Sergeants Mess before carriages came along at midnight to end a perfect evening.
